1. Can I arrange EASA A320 or A330 revalidation in Bangkok?

AEROWA accepts A320 and A330 revalidation enquiries in Bangkok. We review your licence, rating validity, issuing authority and dates before confirming the simulator, examiner and documentation arrangements. The applicable Part-FCL and authority requirements must be met.

2. What is the difference between revalidation and renewal?

Revalidation concerns a rating or certificate that is still valid. Renewal concerns one that has expired. For a type rating renewal, the applicable assessment, any refresher training and proficiency check must be reviewed against your experience, recency and licensing situation.

3. What is the difference between LPC and OPC?

A Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) concerns pilot licensing requirements. An Operator Proficiency Check (OPC) concerns the operator requirements applicable to airline crews. A combined session may be possible when the profile, examiner and operator arrangements meet both sets of requirements; it must be confirmed for your case.

4. What does my revalidation quote include?

For A320 and A330 revalidation, your quote includes a two-hour check per pilot, administration and certificates. Promotional rates may be available depending on dates, simulator availability and instructor or examiner travel arrangements. Contact us for your final quote.

5. Are promotional rates available?

Promotional rates may be available depending on your dates, simulator availability and instructor or examiner travel arrangements. Costs and availability can vary. Contact AEROWA by WhatsApp or email to confirm your final personalised quote.

6. Can an individual instructor book a TRI or SFI assessment of competence?

Yes. AEROWA accepts direct enquiries from self-sponsored A320 and A330 instructors for TRI or SFI assessments of competence in Bangkok. Tell us your certificate type, expiry date, issuing authority and preferred dates so we can review your revalidation or renewal requirements.

7. Does a TRI or SFI AoC also renew my pilot type rating?

Instructor certificate requirements and pilot type rating requirements are separate. Tell us if you need both so we can review the appropriate scope, evidence and checks. An AoC alone does not necessarily complete all requirements for instructor revalidation or renewal.

8. What should I send in my first enquiry?

Send your aircraft type, requested service, issuing authority, rating or instructor certificate status and expiry date, and preferred dates. Mention whether you have a crew partner. We will confirm the documents needed for the detailed review.

9. Which examiner and authority documents apply?

This depends on your licence, certificate and issuing authority. Confirm the examiner certificate and privileges, any notification requirements, current forms and submission process before booking. The EASA Examiner Differences Document and your authority instructions are relevant references.

10. Can AEROWA advise me on my licence or instructor certificate?

Yes. AEROWA offers licensing and career advisory for pilots and instructors: ICAO-to-EASA conversion routes, rating and certificate validity, TRI, SFI and TRE certificate revalidation or renewal, and airline moves. Your licensing authority makes the final decision on your route.

11. Can I ask about an initial A320 type rating or CCQ?

Yes. Initial A320 type rating programmes and Cross Crew Qualification from A320 to A330 or A330 to A320 are available on request. Programme options, eligibility and availability are confirmed individually.

12. Where are A350 services available?

A350 training and checking services are available on request in Taipei and Singapore. Tell us the service you need, your licensing authority and preferred dates so we can confirm options and availability.

13. Is the company address the simulator venue?

AEROWA is based at Sukhumvit 105, Bangna, Bangna, Bangkok 10260, Thailand. Your simulator training venue and arrival instructions are confirmed separately when your session is booked.
